Since 2006, Steiner Werkzeugmaschinen AG, has been the official Swiss representative of 3D Systems. It founded the Steiner 3D division and has since then been specializing in the field of additive manufacturing. Founded in 1986 and based in Rock Hill (USA), 3D Systems is considered the inventor of the stereolithography 3D printing process.
3D Systems 3D is an international manufacturer of 3D printing systems and a leader in additive manufacturing, setting new standards in surface quality, shape capability and accuracy.
3DSystems is the inventor of the whole rapid prototyping technology and takes a pioneering position. The whole product portfolio from 3D printer, stereo lithography to laser sintering is available from one house.
In addition to manufacturing 3D printing systems, 3D Systems also develops its own materials to meet the special requirements of 3D printing and offers printer technologies such as DMP, SLS, DLP, MJP and CJP, among others, with its portfolio.
